Today Seesmic released a Twitter app for Blackberry and Android phones. I tested it on the Blackberry. It is a full featured Twitter client and an easy choice over Ubertwitter and Twitterberry. Brief review follows along with download barcode.
Like some other Twitter clients, Seesmic alerts you to new @ replies and DMs. The alerts are system wide and display in the notification area. It also supports yfrog and twitpic and features, like Ubertwitter, geotagging.
Unlike some other Twitter clients, Seesmic supports saved Twitter searches and has excellent support for Twitter lists.
The only feature lacking is support for multiple Twitter accounts.
It is a very light download, weighing in at 172 kb. You can point your Blackberry browser to www.seesmic.com to download or load Blackberry Messenger 5.0 and scan the barcode below:
