Today Google added real-time news streams to Google Finance. This means that if you view a page on Google Finance, new news will trickle in automatically without the need to refresh your browser. This is a significant development for active traders who rely on financial news to fuel their trading strategies.
Updated news items appear automatically on the Google Finance pages between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm ET (90 minutes before the markets open to 90 minutes after the markets close).
