Sparrow at BBLeaks just posted some patent pictures of possible RIM designs. This one is just plain silly looking, IMO. The phone would flip out and the bottom piece would slide to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. (As an aside, the QWERTY keyboard was designed to have all of the letters to the word “typewriter” in the top line for typewriter salesmen to punch out the word as a demonstration.)
