Why Google Buzz is targeted at Twitter... not Facebook yet.

I believe that Google Buzz is primarily aimed at attracting Twitter content providers right now, not Facebook content. This is a follow up post to the video I recently posted.

 
Mobile World Congress Feb. 15-18... Rumors and More

While certainly overshadowed by the Olympics, there is another international event taking place this week. It is the Mobile World Congress 2010 which takes place February 15-18.

Google to Add Status Update Feature to Gmail [Analysis]

The Wall Street Journal and Mashable are reporting that Google will soon roll out a “status update” feature to Gmail similar to Facebook and Twitter. This is BIG news and “Make Gmail Social” (which appears in the Mashable headline) is now a trending topic on Twitter.

Google to include Walking Tours of Stores

It looks like Google Street View will be expanded so that people can virtually walk into stores near and far. Apparently Google has sent camera crews to New York City and San Francisco to shoot images of the inside of various stores.

Get ready to see your Facebook stream flooded with Sid Meier’s Civilization Network, a sequel to his popular Civilization franchise. It will begin beta testing in June. Sid has hinted at what players can expect in the game:
