This post is more like an unpaid endorsement or, perhaps, even a public service announcement. Swype is the very popular keyboard replacement for mobile phones that allows you to drag your finger letter to letter to spell words. If properly done, this dramatically improves typing speed. I have been using Swype for about a month and I love it. It makes touchscreen text entry much more manageable. If you’re going to check it out, I highly recommend using the built-in tutorial before you begin. It’ll show you how to capitalize letters, double letters and use some of the more advanced features.
Plus, they have a nifty jingle… “Why type when you can Swype?”
